"Learned Aleph, teach another - Aleph...".
The flow of knowledge from the older generation to the younger is the basis of Jewish tradition and culture.
There is even such wisdom as: "Learned Aleph, teach another - Aleph...".
However, today knowledge about culture and traditions is much more accessible than before, thanks to which student volunteers from the Odessa Volunteer Community visit "warm houses" to spend Seder Passover and talk about the history and traditions of this holiday.
At each event, students talk about how and why the Jews ended up in Egypt, the significance of Pesah, and what traditions should be observed and talked about during this period.
They also talk about traditional Passover Seder plate and conduct the main stages of the Seder in accordance with the canons. During this festive period, we express gratitude, give warmth, kindness and wish you all the best. This is the time to spend with your family and loved ones.
We are glad that young people and older people find a common language so easily, communicate, exchange experiences, views and support each other. Hag Pesah Sameah!
