Our volunteers paid attention to the fact that many elderly wards of Hesed community are not able to do even minor repairs of their household items.

Preparations for the project consisted of establishing of the group of volunteers, scheduling of the visits to the clients, creating of a data-base of people in need of assistance, as well as in determining of criteria and spheres of assistance.

Within the “Master at Home” project volunteers of Vinnitsa Center assisted in minor repair works and in creation of comfortable living conditions for lonely and physicaly inactive people. They assisted in household furniture repair, windows replacement, made a minor repair of sanitary and electrical units. The hosts were satisfied with the results and are looking forward to the next visits of the home-masters.
