Model Seders

Volunteers conducted a series of model Seders for clients of the Hesed Menachem Charitable Foundation ahead of Passover

In preparation for Passover, volunteers organized a series of three model Seders for the clients of the Hesed Menachem Charitable Foundation. These gatherings became an important part of preparing for the Festival of Freedom and Redemption, bringing together participants of different ages around traditions, meaning, and shared experience.

The guides on this journey were volunteers - graduates of the Passover Seder University. They took on the responsible role of facilitators and led each stage of the Seder with inspiration, attentiveness, and care for the participants. For many of them, it was their first experience leading such gatherings, but thanks to their sincere engagement and preparation, each Seder took place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The program was rich and diverse. Participants followed all stages of the Seder according to the Haggadah, explored the meaning of the symbols of the festive meal, and listened to and performed traditional Passover songs. An important part of the gatherings was the lively interaction: participants asked questions, shared thoughts and personal stories, and gained a deeper understanding of the holiday's significance.

A festive atmosphere was created with the support of creative groups and community activists who contributed to the organization and implementation of the events. Thanks to these collective efforts, each of the three model Seders became truly special - warm, engaging, and filled with a sense of unity.

Such gatherings not only introduce participants to Passover traditions but also help preserve connections between generations, pass on knowledge, and create a space where everyone can feel part of the community.

We sincerely congratulate the facilitators and thank everyone who contributed to the organization and participation in the model Seders. It is thanks to your work, attention to detail, and genuine desire to share traditions that it was possible to create the atmosphere of a true celebration.
