The marathon of kindness, which started in the JVP Kharkov Jewish Volunteer Platform, is already ready to present its incredible results!

Five teams received a checklist with good deeds and stubbornly began to carry them out!

During these difficult times, many have lost their homes and with them their personal belongings. Therefore, one of the tasks of the Marathon was to gather new clothes, linen and dishes for those in need. Volunteers collected and handed over 30 kg of clothes, 10 sets of bed linen and 15 kg of kitchen utensils. These things are already with their owners, who live in hostels for temporarily displaced people.

Another task was to help children in crisis situations. To accomplish this task, the volunteers visited a hostel where children affected by the war live. They organized and held outdoor games, art therapy and even zootherapy there.

At the end of the visit, stationery goods were handed out to make learning more enjoyable for the children.
