Online Shabbat Care Marathon

In the heart of our volunteer project "Interaction," a new event lit up – the Shabbat Care Marathon.

We conducted a marathon with the aim of supporting lonely and less mobile elderly members of the Jewish community. Our dedicated volunteers not only prepared but also carefully delivered Shabbat care packages, filling hearts with the warmth and light of care.

We prepared 18 sets, each symbolizing attention and respect for the older generation. Ten of our dedicated volunteers put their energy and soul into this event to make Shabbat special for those who may feel lonely and vulnerable.

This Shabbat Care Marathon included not only delivering the sets but also creating a special atmosphere of care and joy. Volunteers brought not only products and items but also gave their time, engaging in conversation, listening, and bringing the warmth of their company.

This marathon is not just a kind gesture but an act of interaction, creating a bridge between generations and enriching the community with bonds of care and understanding. We are proud of our volunteers who brought their positive energy into the lives of the elderly, offering them a piece of a bright and joyful Shabbat. This is just the beginning – in the "Interaction" project, many more good ideas and inspiring moments await us.
