Opening a window into the world of technology

The world of digital technology opens up endless opportunities for everyone, regardless of age

As part of the "Digital Education" project by the Kyiv Hesed Volunteer Center, we help elderly people acquire useful skills that make their lives more comfortable and engaging.

Our regular meeting was dedicated to working with the Google Chrome browser - a key tool for searching for information, communication, and even online shopping. The topic was chosen by voting, and this particular direction turned out to be the most relevant for our participants!

Thanks to the caring volunteers who patiently explained every step, our beneficiaries learned how to open tabs, use the search function, find useful websites, and even customize the browser to their own needs. The excited faces, the joy of their first successes, and overcoming the fear of the unknown - all of this made the meeting especially warm and inspiring.

And most importantly, this is just the beginning! There are many more meetings ahead where we will explore new topics together, learn about digital security, mobile apps, online services, and much more. Digital literacy is not just about learning—it's about new opportunities, engaging conversations, and gaining confidence in yourself!

Thank you to everyone involved in the project! If you or someone you know wants to expand their digital horizons, we invite you to join us. Discovering new things together is always easier and more exciting!
