"Origins of kindness" project

Event to collect clothes, shoes, toys and books for forcefully relocated families with children and for people at risk.

In July, the Jewish Volunteer Platform volunteer center in Kharkov initiated and carried out a large-scale campaign "Sources of kindness" to collect clothes, shoes, toys and books for forecefully relocated families with children and to help local people at risk.

Not indifferent residents of the community picked up the initiative and actively participated in the action. Thus, by common efforts, we managed to collect 226 kg of clothes and more than 100 kg of toys, shoes and books.

Today, clothes collected through the Lubny Volunteer Community center are already helping families who left their homes, lost their relatives, carefree life and ended up in another city. And it is very symbolic when the citizens of Kharkov help their fellow villagers who were forced to run away, because there are a lot of families in Lubny who have moved from Kharkov and the region!

Such a "chain" is an ideal example of our work at the present time. Only through cooperation and united efforts can we achieve the most cherished goals. With this approach, there is no doubt that together we will overcome all obstacles and hardships, while maintaining faith in a brighter future!
