Pleasant Online Shabbat
Volunteers from the Odesa Volunteer Community organized a celebration for the wards of the Charitable Foundation 'Hesed Shaarei Zion'."
In honor of International Women's Day, an Online Shabbat was held for the wards of the Charitable Foundation 'Hesed Shaarei Zion' in the city of Odesa. The meeting was organized with the support of volunteers from the Odesa Volunteer Community and dedicated to the great Jewish women who have made a significant contribution to history.
The online format has become very popular today as it significantly expands the number of participants. Many of our wards do not have the opportunity to physically attend various events, but happily join us online. This time, much was said about the role of women in history, as well as discussing the traditions of Purim, its history, and symbolism.
At the end of the main part, guests were treated to a pleasant surprise. All women received congratulations and warm wishes. Volunteers made efforts to ensure that the meeting was not only informative but also enjoyable for everyone. Warm, friendly communication was accompanied by pleasant Shabbat melodies, smiles, and jokes.
The wonderful Online Shabbat organized by the Odesa Volunteer Community contributed to even greater cohesion between volunteers and their wards, helped develop social ties within the community, and filled gaps in knowledge about great Jewish women, Jewish culture, and traditions.
