Purim baking made with soul
As part of the VolunTeens project, volunteers teamed up with teenagers from Active Jewish Teens for a good cause
Volunteers together with teenagers prepared holiday cookies, Hamantaschen, for Purim for the Jewish community of Ivano-Frankivsk.

The meeting was filled with warmth, joy, and a sense of unity. Young people, alongside experienced volunteers, kneaded the dough by hand, shaped the cookies, chose the tastiest fillings, and, of course, eagerly awaited the moment when the fragrant triangular treats would come out of the oven.

But the most important thing is not just the treats, but the process itself - filled with laughter, friendly conversations, and camaraderie. Each participant felt they were part of the larger Jewish community - one that upholds traditions, supports one another, and creates real miracles with their own hands.

Culinary masterclasses, especially on the eve of holidays, have become a wonderful tradition that brings generations together. Young people eagerly learn from the experience of their elders, while volunteers inspire teenagers to do good deeds.
Thank you to everyone who joined us! Together, we're not just making treats - we're sharing warmth, joy, and support with those who need it most. Together we are strong!
