Purim for everyone
As part of the “Bring Joy” and “Waves of Kindness” campaigns, volunteers brought Purim to the homes of those who cannot leave their houses
When sincere hearts come together, true miracles happen. This is exactly how the atmosphere of this week in the community can be described during the preparation for one of the warmest Jewish holidays - Purim
Within the “Bring Joy” campaign and the “Waves of Kindness” initiative, volunteers, together with the youth movement Volunteens, made every effort to bring the holiday to those who are waiting for it the most. Thanks to their energy and dedication, it was possible to reach those who especially need attention.
One of the main achievements was visiting community members with limited mobility. Volunteers not only delivered traditional treats - hamantasch and mishloach manot - but also gave the most valuable thing - live communication and sincere emotions.
Each such visit became a symbol of intergenerational unity and genuine care because being a caring community means supporting those who do not always have the opportunity to be present during festive days.
A special role in this initiative was played by Volunteens, who once again demonstrated leadership, responsibility, and readiness to act. They became an example of how young people can inspire and change the world around them.
This joint effort is more than just preparation for a holiday. It is the creation of a story of kindness that shapes a strong, united, and caring community of the future. Chag Purim Sameach!
