Recharging Together

As part of the "Good Life" project, volunteers and community members enjoyed relaxation, aqua aerobics and a chance to recharge

Volunteering brings meaning, warm gatherings and opportunities to change someone's life for the better. But it also requires considerable strength, energy and emotional resources. That is why finding time to recharge, care for our health and restore our energy is so important.

Swimming, physical activity and relaxing in the water not only improve health and help relieve physical tension. They also allow us to slow down, restore inner balance, leave everyday worries behind and simply enjoy the moment. For people who are used to giving so much to others, such self-care becomes a necessity rather than a luxury.

That is why, as part of the "Good Life" project, RVC volunteers and community members enjoyed a special gathering dedicated to relaxation, connection and restoring their energy.

Volunteer Tetiana Kirieieva led an aqua aerobics session for the participants, filling everyone with energy, good spirits and positive emotions. There was plenty of movement, laughter and mutual support. Then it was time to truly relax. A swimming pool, jacuzzi, warm water, leisurely conversations and a chance to simply enjoy the moment. Gatherings like these not only help people rest but also remind everyone that they are a valued part of a caring community.

The day ended with delicious fresh juices and cakes, adding even more warmth and comfort to the gathering.

We sincerely believe that caring for the community begins with caring for the people who build it every day through their compassion, good deeds and open hearts.

Because when volunteers have the energy they need, they can continue sharing support, attention and warmth with those who need it most. And that means even more kindness in the world.
