Scrapbooking for the heart and memory
Sometimes memory lives not only in the heart but also on paper - in old photographs, in clippings that carry whole stories within them
This was exactly the type of meeting our volunteers organized for the elderly members of the community - warm, unhurried, and filled with tenderness and a gentle melancholy.

This time, we spoke about memory and created its physical expression through scrapbooking. This is not just a craft but a true art of designing photo albums, which allows preserving the most precious moments of life not in boxes on shelves, but in beautiful, lovingly crafted pages.

The event began with a brief story about the history of scrapbooking - how simple photographs evolved into a way of reflecting on life and became a tool for telling personal stories. Then came the most important part: the hands-on creation of memory pages.
Colored paper, cutouts, delicate decorative elements - all of these came to life under the hands of our participants. But the main focus was the photographs they brought from home: wedding portraits, children’s smiles, youthful dreams. All of this was revived in memories and found new life in the albums. In every element, there was warmth, attention, and a piece of the soul.

This was not just a creative process - it was an exchange of memories, smiles, and songs of youth. Moments of silence alternated with stories drawn from the depths of memory. Each page created that day became a kind of letter to the past - sincere, tender, and deeply personal.
We are grateful to the volunteers who prepared and conducted this meeting with such care and respect for every participant. Preserving memory is also a form of love. We are honored to be part of this journey.
