Sensitivity training with a psychologist for our volunteers

Training for our volunteers with a psychologist of the "Wings of Kindness" and "Interaction" projects

A volunteer is a person who voluntarily and gratuitously engages in socially useful activities.

He spends his personal time helping other people. But the volunteer also needs help and support. During the quarantine, our volunteers took courses and instruction in various areas of volunteer work. Helping others, of course, they should not forget about themselves!

Two Sundays in a row, on the last weekends of winter and the first Sunday of spring, 25 of our volunteers gathered online at a training session with the psychologist of our center Lydia Kulik, who raised a very important topic for many: "My volunteer work during quarantine. Expectation and reality".

There were a lot of questions. What are our mistakes? How can I help myself? What should we do to make our expectations a reality? In the course of a relaxed friendly conversation, answers to all the questions of concern were found.

Still, being a volunteer is an art!
