Shabbat Among Friends
Volunteers and Hesed clients welcomed Shabbat together, filling the evening with warmth, light and a sense of community
Volunteers and clients of the Hesed Menachem Charitable Foundation gathered to welcome Shabbat together, talk, share good spirits and spend the evening in the warm atmosphere of a circle of friends.
Shabbat is a special time when we can pause the daily routine, even for a little while, set our tasks aside and focus on what truly matters: the people around us, communication, traditions and a sense of unity. And when people meet in person, this atmosphere feels even stronger.
Lighting the Shabbat candles, blessings, traditional songs and the evening together created a special atmosphere. Time passed unnoticed through conversations and sincere interaction, turning an ordinary evening into a warm gathering of friends. There was room for smiles, memories and the simple pleasure of being together.
In-person gatherings like these have their own special magic. They help maintain connections between people, create a sense of belonging to the community and remind us that traditions live not only in rituals but also in the moments we share with one another.
May every Shabbat bring more light, peace, warmth and joy to our homes and hearts, and may the time spent together leave pleasant memories and a desire to meet again.
