Shabbat: An Island of Warmth and Hope
The Family Volunteering project continues to uphold the most cherished traditions of the Jewish people.
As part of the Family Volunteering initiative, our dedicated volunteers regularly organize Shabbat gatherings in full accordance with Jewish traditions. Given the challenging times Ukraine is facing, these gatherings have become a refuge of hope and stability for many.

Shabbat celebrations continue regardless of the difficulties of war. If the city loses power, we light candles and let their gentle glow bring warmth and peace to our hearts. These moments remind us that we are one family, united by our traditions and our shared commitment to preserving them for future generations. Our traditions are our roots—they ground us, providing strength and confidence in any life circumstance.

We extend our gratitude to the volunteers of the Family Volunteering project for their dedication to preserving and promoting Jewish traditions. Your efforts help strengthen families and create a space where everyone can find support, connection, and warmth.
