Shabbat at trying times
Volunteers and members of the community have met up to celebrate Shabbat!
Today, in the occupied Melitopol, you might not find the exact answer on this question, but people are giving their all to keep themselves safe as well as save the tradition!
At these trying times, community is the most important thing that brings hope and positive energy to each member.
Even though, due to the circumstances that we have been forced in, we couldn’t celebrate Shabbat at the traditional time, but people within the community found the time to meet-up at Friday. During the ceremony, candles that have been burning bright, brought hope, warmth, and the feeling of upcoming peace. It was a great opportunity to let go of the built up stress and share positive affirmations within the community, something that is so needed now.
