Volunteers brought this project from the JDC Volunteer Conference, which was held in Chisinau in early November 2022. The project started in our exhibition center at the end of November.

The project began with a master class for volunteers on baking Shabbat braided bread - challah. And already in December, the project had five volunteers, each of whom baked 10 challahs for lonely elderly people.

To date, six volunteers are already participating in the project, which means that the number of beneficiaries has also increased! The project is developing and gaining momentum! This brings nothing, but joy!

After all, warm relations arose between volunteers and recipients of challahs, people of the "golden age". Volunteers are awaited, they are called up, gifts are exchanged, and such communication creates stable ties between generations!
