"Shabbat Guest" - It's About Caring
Round challahs during Rosh Hashanah symbolize the cycle of time and new beginnings, as well as unity and harmony.
The "Shabbat Guest" project is all about care, attention, and creating an incredible Shabbat atmosphere for the elderly.
The evening of Rosh Hashanah is a time for joy, prayers, and family dinners. It is the Jewish New Year celebrated by the global Jewish community.
On this day, preparing festive dishes plays a significant role. One of the symbols of Rosh Hashanah is round challahs. They symbolize the cycle of time and new beginnings, as well as unity and harmony. That's why these challahs are so important in today's menu. Volunteers from the Volunteer Community Center Kamianets-Podilskyi decided to contribute to the festive mood by preparing them.
This act was a true act of kindness and love for one's neighbor. Volunteers paid close attention to every detail, preparing the challahs with love and care.
When the freshly baked challahs were delivered to the clients, the joy and gratitude in their eyes were unmistakable. For many of them, these challahs became not only a symbol of the holiday table but also a symbol of kindness and attention to others.
Celebrating Rosh Hashanah is not only a time for traditional rituals but also a time for giving and helping those in need. Our volunteers were able to bring this joy and assistance, making this holiday even more special.
Thank you for their diligence and dedication to society. We hope that the kind deeds of our volunteers will usher in a new and better year for all of us. Happy Rosh Hashanah!
