Shabbat in colors
The art studio of the Wings of Kindness and Caring Connection projects transformed into a space for creativity
Participants of the Caring Connection and Wings of Kindness projects from the Mykolayiv Volunteer NOEK Community, with the support of our dedicated volunteers, gathered once again in their beloved art studio. This space has long become special for them — not just a creative workshop, but a cozy haven where they can relax, have heartfelt conversations, and simply enjoy an atmosphere of kindness.

This session was dedicated to Shabbat — a symbol of peace, inner calm, family warmth, and spiritual light. The theme is deep and personal, and each painting created that day became a visual story. Some depicted a cozy Shabbat table with family, others — glowing candles, the aroma of challah, or even childhood memories.

In this space, paints and brushes become tools for self-expression, and creative activity becomes therapeutic. The art studio helps participants not only to discover themselves but also to feel important, needed, and heard.

Each artwork is more than just a painting. It is emotion, memory, and inner light. We thank everyone who helps this studio live, breathe, and inspire. Together, we continue to create beauty — both in hearts and on canvas.
