As part of the "Interaction" project, volunteers from our center pay special attention to elderly beneficiaries who are in great need of support. This time, they organized a special Shabbat: 19 volunteers went to meet with 19 of their beneficiaries.

Each volunteer carefully considered important aspects that could improve the lives of their beneficiaries. In addition to delicious gifts, the elderly received the most important thing - the warmth of personal human interaction.

Despite their busy schedules, the volunteers always find time for such meetings. Many of them have become like family members, dear to the lonely members of our community. With their visits, they bring joy and emotional warmth, supporting those who particularly need companionship.

Their elderly beneficiaries eagerly await the volunteers, treating them as dear guests. In the cozy atmosphere at the table, they have plenty to talk about, regardless of the significant age difference. In addition to supporting lonely individuals, such visits are an excellent opportunity to strengthen bonds within the community. Volunteers admit that, thanks to their elder companions, they enrich their knowledge and gain invaluable life experience.

The "Interaction" project helps combat loneliness and warms the hearts of our elderly beneficiaries. Thanks to it, they feel needed and important to society, gladly sharing their emotional warmth and rich life experience.
