Shabbat of Good Jam

Volunteers combined culinary skills and traditions, they prepared apple jam and welcomed Shabbat with warmth and songs

It was a true Good Jam Shabbat for such a perfect combination of culinary art and Kabbalat Shabbat, you could hardly ask for more!

Even before Shabbat began, the volunteers got to work — carefully preparing everything needed for the apple jam. The atmosphere was filled with the aroma of fruit, laughter, and the anticipation of the holiday.

After the preparations, we welcomed the Sabbath among friends — chatting, singing, and sharing stories that everyone had missed during the week. It was a time of warmth, gratitude, and heartfelt connection.

Once the jam was ready, the volunteers decorated the jars with labels and wishes for a sweet year for everyone who would receive these gifts, spreading joy and support.

And truly, how could anyone resist smiling at these dozens of jars, filled with jam, love, and warm words? It’s more than just jam — it’s a symbol of care, unity, and good deeds that fill our hearts with the sweetness of life.
