Shabbat Together
Volunteers visited Hesed beneficiaries to welcome Shabbat together, sing Piyyutim, and hold a musical evening
Volunteers visited their friends - Hesed beneficiaries - to spend a special Shabbat together - warm, musical, and truly heartfelt. This meeting became not only an opportunity to observe traditions, but also a chance to feel the power of unity, live communication, and support.
This time, the participants not only welcomed Shabbat, but also immersed themselves more deeply in its atmosphere. Together, they learned more about piyyutim - traditional Jewish spiritual songs, practiced new melodies, and sang familiar tunes accompanied by the piano.
The shared singing created a special atmosphere of warmth and closeness. In those moments, it was especially strongly felt how important Shabbat is for everyone and how it is able to unite people, giving them the feeling of one big family.
The pleasant surprises did not end there. After the conclusion of the Shabbat program, the Hesed beneficiaries prepared an impromptu concert for the volunteers. Heartfelt melodies accompanied by the guitar filled the room, and lyrical poems touched the heart and created an atmosphere of sincerity and trust.
Such meetings once again remind us that the true value of volunteering lies not only in providing help, but also in the opportunity to be there for one another, to share important moments, to listen to each other, and to create memories together that remain in the heart for a long time.
We sincerely thank our friends - the Hesed beneficiaries - for their warm welcome, sincere emotions, and this special evening filled with music, light, and the feeling of true unity.
