As part of the wonderful Warmth at Home project, our volunteers visited the children at the Rozhyshche Shelter and held an engaging masterclass on preparing the beloved dessert, “kartoshka.” For many children, this treat evokes memories of home, family, and warmth.

The kids enthusiastically got to work, listening attentively to the volunteers as they mixed ingredients and shaped the “kartoshka” pastries. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and teamwork as they shared their thoughts and helped one another. Each child decorated their creation uniquely, expressing their creativity. In those moments, the shelter’s kitchen transformed into a space where the children felt like part of one big, happy family. We’re confident that the joyful memories of this wonderful masterclass will stay with them for a long time!

The Warmth at Home project gives children the chance to experience happiness and create cherished memories. Thanks to our volunteers, kids far from their families receive much-needed care and attention.
