Shavuot Together

The Day Center's Shavuot celebration took place in an atmosphere of friendly conversation, learning about traditions and creativity. Our volunteers played an important role in the event, once again helping organize the program and making the gathering interesting and meaningful for everyone.

One of the main activities was a themed quiz, which the volunteers prepared and led with enthusiasm. Participants had a chance to recall Shavuot traditions and customs, test their knowledge and learn something new. The quiz offered not only interesting questions but also an opportunity to enjoy the festive atmosphere together and feel connected to Jewish traditions.

The creative workshop on painting with air-dry clay was just as engaging. Participants could use their imagination, try an unusual technique and create their own artwork. This activity offered room for self-expression, positive emotions and shared creativity.

The workshop was filled with warmth, sincere conversations and mutual support. The creative process brought participants together, allowing them to spend time in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy working together. Moments like these make holiday gatherings special and leave pleasant memories.

Thanks to the volunteers' active involvement, the program combined learning about Shavuot traditions with creative activities. Their participation helps maintain a warm atmosphere in the community, creates opportunities for connection and makes every event meaningful.

We sincerely thank our volunteers for their initiative, compassion and desire to bring joy to others. With your help, holiday gatherings become even more interesting and welcoming, bringing people together around shared values and traditions.
