Soap Making Initiative
Soap made with love and attention will serve as a reminder to each beneficiary of the care for their well-being and comfort.
The Shostka Jewish Community embarked on a unique experiment, where volunteers crafted handmade natural soap. This activity has proven to be beneficial both to the community members and the environment.
First and foremost, handmade soap production involves only natural ingredients that are environmentally friendly. It's no secret that store-bought soap contains harmful chemicals, such as triclosan, which is a pesticide and poses significant harm to the environment. In contrast, handmade natural soap incorporates natural oils, salts, and herbs that have a beneficial impact on the skin.
The energy invested in handmade soap production is noteworthy. Volunteers craft it with love, infusing it with the warmth of their hearts. The energy of love is a powerful force that can literally uplift anyone who holds a piece of such soap. Additionally, each piece of soap is a unique work of art, providing aesthetic pleasure.
Crafting soap is an engaging activity that entertains and unveils creative abilities. Furthermore, it is an act of caring for others. The handmade soap is intended for elderly beneficiaries of the center, who gratefully receive these bright, aromatic bars. Our soap symbolizes love and care for those in need of support.
The soap from the Shostka Jewish Community contributes to maintaining an atmosphere of caring for others, strengthening spiritual connections among community members. And, of course, it serves as an excellent skincare product, free from harmful additives and preservatives!
