Special Classes for Children
As Part of the "Just Jew It" and "Inclusive Space" Projects, Volunteers Visited Children with Speech and Hearing Impairments
As part of the "Just Jew It" and "Inclusive Space" projects, volunteers from our center conducted a series of developmental and recreational activities for children with speech and hearing impairments. The volunteers took great care in developing the plan for each session, considering the specific needs of the children and aiming to make the activities as beneficial as possible in terms of motor skills development and movement coordination.
Various methods were used, including a range of educational games that allowed the children to easily acquire new skills. The children had the opportunity to improve physically, boost their self-esteem, and enhance their social adaptation skills.
The volunteers did everything possible to create a trusting and supportive atmosphere for the children, where each child felt comfortable and was eager to participate in the proposed activities. These meetings became an opportunity for the children to unlock their potential and establish social connections with each other.
The benefits of the sessions were felt not only by the children but also by the volunteers, who gained new experience in organizing events for children with special needs. We are confident that the "Just Jew It" and "Inclusive Space" projects will bring many more exciting and beneficial meetings. We thank the volunteers for their willingness to explore new horizons in their quest to help those in need!
