Spring in the heart

As part of the Happy Elderly 80+ project, we have once again seen that real spring does not live outside the window, but in the heart

The participants of the program, our respected elders, took part in a heartwarming master class during which they made delicate paper vases with flowers.

Their hands - the ones that have gone through decades of care, work, and love - were concentrating and carefully folding bright paper petals. Each movement was full of confidence, experience and beauty. Each flower that appeared from under their fingers seemed to be a symbol of memory, a symbol of the spring of life that never disappears but lives deep inside.

A special kind of silence filled the room - a silence of reflection, inspiration, and warmth. This was more than a creative activity; it was an emotional journey, full of fond memories, smiles, and a deep sense of dignity. And though the flowers were made of paper, they carried a true energy of joy and light.

For many participants, this gathering was not just an opportunity to create something beautiful with their own hands. It was a chance to feel seen and valued, to share kind words, exchange smiles, and be part of a community that understands and supports them.

Spring is not a season - it's a state of soul. And we are grateful that through such simple yet heartfelt projects, we can keep that spring alive in the hearts of our dear Eldersy. Because life is beautiful at any age - especially when there is care, creativity, and true human warmth.
