Spring of Care

Volunteers held a workshop on creating bird feeders for children with hearing loss and speech Impairments

With the arrival of spring, our volunteers visited children with hearing loss and severe speech impairments and held a creative workshop on making and decorating bird feeders.

Five volunteers worked together with 16 children, including students from the Kyiv Professional College of Arts and Technological Service. The meeting became an example of genuine interaction, where not only the creative results mattered, but also the process itself - attention, support, and working together.

Throughout the workshop, an atmosphere of concentration, joy, and warmth prevailed. Every bird feeder turned out to be unique - just like each of its young creators, who put their own imagination and mood into their work.

Such events help children develop creative skills, build self-confidence, and experience the joy of creating something with their own hands. They also promote social interaction in a safe and supportive environment.

One of the volunteer participants, Timur, shared his impressions: "It was an incredibly touching experience. I received many warm impressions and was sincerely inspired."

We sincerely thank everyone who joined this initiative. After all, true spring begins where there is care.
