Summary: January – June 2025
The first six months of activity have once again shown that when people come together within a community, an incredible synergy emerges
In January, we began the year with incredible motivation for meaningful change, and by June, we looked back to see a community that had grown stronger, warmer, and larger. We saw thousands of hands reaching out to offer help where it was most needed. We saw eyes shining with gratitude. We witnessed a true volunteer family expanding, fueled by faith in the power of kindness and the value of community.
The program operates in 26 cities, encompassing 33 communities, each with its own story of unity. From bustling metropolises to cozy towns, volunteer centers have become beacons of light within their communities. In these 33 hubs, work thrived, ideas were born, and connections were woven that unite generations.
To date, 3,078 volunteers have joined the effort, each one a hero who chose to act and dedicate their resources to strengthen the community. Among them, 273 new volunteers experienced, for the first time, what it feels like to be part of something greater.
Out of 622 long-term projects and initiatives planned for 2025, 434 have already built strong bridges between needs and support, challenges and responses. Volunteers participated in acts of assistance 11,283 times.
11,283 moments when someone came to help, gave their time to be present, or offered their resources to support others. That amounts to 59,328 volunteer hours, each minute contributing to a story of care and aid.
Over six months, 2,223 older adults received support, attention, and care, on average at least twice a month. This number is more than arithmetic - it reflects the pulse of the community, proving that volunteering is not an episodic act but a way of life rooted in the values of our people.
These six months have once again shown that when people unite within a community, incredible synergy occurs, creating a force capable of developing, building, contributing, multiplying, and fostering the resilience and self-sufficiency of communities.
