Support and Warmth
As part of the Good Deeds Day campaign, volunteers dedicated their energy and attention to supporting the elderly
Volunteers across the country are striving to make our world better. This time, at our center in Rivne, "baking enthusiasts" gathered with the goal of preparing traditional challahs for the elderly members of the community. In Jewish tradition, challah symbolizes community and warmth, and no festive table is complete without it.
Volunteers eagerly set to work: some mixed the ingredients and kneaded the dough, others shaped the challahs, and some placed the future bread in the hot oven. Soon, everyone was able to enjoy the magical aroma of challah, pleased with the results of their joint efforts. The challahs were then ready to embark on their journey to the tables of the elderly community members. Each challah carried a piece of the volunteers' heartfelt warmth and care.
The seniors gratefully received this gift of love, appreciating the volunteers' talent and their desire to provide real support. Soon, the traditional baked goods took their place on the festive tables, enhancing the atmosphere of warmth and coziness with their incredible aroma. In that moment, no one at the table felt lonely; instead, they felt like part of a large and friendly community!
We thank the volunteers for their wonderful action in supporting lonely and elderly community members! Through your actions, you help combat loneliness and bring positive emotions! We invite everyone to join the volunteer movement to make our world a better place!
