However, there is a separate category of people, whose struggles only multiplied due to the difficult situation in our country. Those are people who aren’t socially protected. Taking into consideration the material-technical crisis, now they are in even more prominent social isolation that reflects on their psychological and emotional health.

During peaceful times, volunteers of Vinnytsia Volunteer Community center have been hosting master-classes and meet-ups for people with disabilities for the “Home” project. This helped emotionally acting as a socialization tool, integrating them in society and helping the development and adaptation processes. Sadly, now such meat-ups are impossible. Volunteers decided to support people with disabilities by gifting them kits with essential product as well as words of affirmation that “Everything will be great soon!”

These kits were not only a simple humanitarian support, but also a spark of sincerity that hopefully will start a flame of fire in their hearts. This is a symbol that people never forget about others and there is always someone to lean on.

This is a bright example of social awareness and people who choose the path of volunteering in such a difficult time!
