Sweet Care

Good Jam Day at the Center - volunteers gave gifts to the older generation - filled with warmth and care

At our volunteer center, Good Jam Day concluded — an annual tradition that unites hearts around goodness, care, and mutual support.

Volunteers lovingly prepared and packed themed gift sets for the older beneficiaries of Hesed — filled with aromatic jams, delicious treats, and symbolic small items that create a sense of celebration and warmth. Each jar — a small sign of attention — conveys care and love from our community.

This initiative is not only about sweets. It is about attention to others — support — and preserving traditions passed down from generation to generation. The true value of a gift is measured not by its material cost — but by the warmth of the hearts of those who prepared it. For older people, it is important to feel remembered, needed, and valued. For volunteers, it is an opportunity to give joy, smiles, attention, and a piece of their love.

Good Jam Day once again reminded us that even small gestures of care can do great things: they warm, inspire, and create a sense of community. Together — we create a world where humanity, kindness, and mutual support hold the greatest power — and each jar of jam becomes a symbol of warmth, friendship, and celebration.
