Sweet preparations for Purim
On the eve of the Purim holiday, volunteers were hard at work – preparing delicious gifts for the elderly
With special love and care, they began baking the traditional triangular cookies – hamantaschen.

Each stage of the preparation filled the day with a festive atmosphere. The volunteers carefully kneaded the dough, chose the most delicious fillings, shared their secrets for perfect baking, and shaped the symbolic triangles with smiles – a reminder of the story of Purim. Gradually, the room was filled with sweet aromas of vanilla, poppy seeds, jam, and chocolate – a true taste of the upcoming celebration.

Beyond the baking itself, this gathering was a wonderful opportunity for conversation, sharing memories, and exchanging stories about Purim celebrations through the years. The volunteers spoke about the importance of supporting one another, the strength of unity, and the joy this holiday brings. Moments like these once again confirm that Purim is not only about treats, but also about the tradition of doing good deeds, sharing warmth, and creating happiness for those who need it most.

These lovingly prepared hamantaschen will be a true festive gift for the elderly members of the community, bringing them joy and a sense of care. We thank our wonderful volunteers for their kindness, enthusiasm, and desire to make this holiday special for everyone!
