Sweet Warmth for Rosh Hashanah

Good Jam Day ended with sweet gifts for older clients: croissants with jam and homemade candies

Good Jam Day has come to an end, but its main goal - to bring warmth, care and joy - lived on through festive gifts for our older clients. Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, volunteers made sure the festive spirit could be felt not only at the table but also in every thoughtful detail.

During the Seder, each participant enjoyed delicious croissants filled with jam made during the campaign, along with candies that volunteers prepared by hand from healthy dried fruits. These treats became a special addition to the festive meal - a simple but heartfelt way to share care and good spirits.

Behind every jar of jam and every sweet gift were time, effort and a desire to do something kind for others. Good Jam Day brought volunteers together for a shared cause, where the delicious results mattered just as much as the opportunity to bring a little heartfelt warmth to older adults.

It was especially rewarding to see the results of their shared efforts become festive treats that added to the Rosh Hashanah atmosphere. After all, care is expressed not only through great deeds but also through moments like these - when someone prepares a treat in advance, puts in personal effort and wants to bring another person a little more joy.

This marked the end of another heartwarming Good Jam Day story - one of generosity, compassion and the power of working together. Thanks to our volunteers, Rosh Hashanah truly became a joyful and sweet holiday for our older clients.

May the sweet taste of these gifts remind everyone of human warmth, and may the kindness we share return to each of us a hundredfold!
