Sweet Warmth to Rosh Hashanah
Volunteers gave Day Center participants fragrant jam with hand-decorated lids
As part of the Good Jam Day campaign, fragrant plum jam was poured into beautiful jars, prepared as gifts and presented to Day Center participants ahead of Rosh Hashanah. Each sweet gift became a small gesture of attention, warmth and heartfelt wishes for the new year.
Along with the jars of jam, participants received another special gift - hand-decorated lids. During previous sessions, Day Center visitors had put their imagination, effort and creativity into decorating them. To preserve the beauty of their designs, we coated the lids with varnish.
Now everyone has taken home the very lid they decorated themselves. It will adorn a jar filled with treats and candies, reminding them of the time spent together and the joy of creating something special with their own hands.
Such seemingly small details make a gift truly personal. After all, it combines the sweet taste of homemade jam, the participants' creativity and the care we share with one another.
