Sweet Workshop
The creative workshop for Rosh Hashanah brought together older adults and IDPs in the project "We Are Together"
As part of the "We Are Together" project, a festive creative workshop was held on the eve of Rosh Hashanah for members of the Club for Older Adults and IDPs. The event was organized by our volunteers and conducted by program leaders, creating a space of warmth, inspiration, and heartfelt interaction.
From the very first minutes, a special atmosphere of uplift filled the room. Participants enthusiastically immersed themselves in the creative process: the colorful paper in their hands gradually transformed into real works of art. Carefully cutting, folding, and adding details, they created bright paper apples — a symbol of a sweet and blessed New Year. Each creation was so neat and expressive that it was hard to believe they were not real fruits but handmade decorations.
During the workshop, laughter, warm conversations, and words of support could be heard. Creativity became a bridge that united all participants and reminded them that, regardless of age or life circumstances, there is always room for learning, inspiration, and the joy of shared activities.
The apples they created became not only festive decorations but also symbols of good wishes. In each one, participants put a piece of their heart, the warmth of their hands, and their belief that the new year would be bright, sweet, and full of hope.
