For Children's Day, 79 children from the community welcomed summer together at the colorful "Yeladim. Territory of Children's Dreams" celebration
Summer begins when there is more sunshine, laughter and carefree childhood joy all around. That is exactly what the first day of summer was like for 79 children from the community who attended the "Yeladim. Territory of Children's Dreams" celebration on June 1.
That day, the Beit Dan Volunteer Platform, in partnership with Hesed, Kharkiv Hillel and the BERI Foundation, created a true territory of joy for the children - a place where they could run, play, dance, laugh and simply enjoy the celebration.
It seemed to have everything that makes a perfect summer day in childhood memories: cotton candy, ice cream and refreshing drinks, active games, a paper show, dancing and countless reasons to smile. Children's laughter, movement and bright emotions filled the space with a special atmosphere - the kind that makes summer feel truly real.
For the children, this celebration was more than just a fun event. It was an opportunity to welcome the summer holidays together, spend time with friends and enjoy a day filled with plenty of joy and very few worries. A day they will want to remember for a long time.
Behind every child's smile was a great deal of teamwork. Volunteers and partners helped prepare the celebration, organize entertainment, purchase gifts and create all the little details that ultimately make up a child's happiness.
We thank everyone who joined "Yeladim. Territory of Children's Dreams" and helped make this day special. After all, children's dreams sometimes begin with very simple things - ice cream, music, games, hugs and the chance to simply be happy. And when adults come together to make this possible, there are many more happy moments.
