The Game of "33 Misfortunes"
Volunteers organized a game for the elderly beneficiaries that teaches how to behave in dangerous situations.
"33 Misfortunes" is a game aimed at teaching skills for behavior in dangerous situations, such as fires, floods, armed conflicts, and even nuclear threats. The developer of this game, Yuliana Kolesnikova, participated in the UNICEF event "Youth for Ukraine. Recovery Plan."
As one of the developers of the games "Jobby" (about safe employment for teenagers) and "33 Misfortunes," Yuliana personally met with the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, Orlando Bloom, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Ukraine, Emin Dzheparov, and the Advisor to the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine, Yasumasa Iijima. Yuliana's team, working on the "33 Misfortunes" project, was awarded the "Self-help in Emergency Situations" prize. Additionally, a photograph of her team was featured on the official First Lady's page.
Recently, Yuliana joined our large volunteer family. Despite her young age, she demonstrates impressive intellect and enthusiasm. This time, Yuliana organized the game "33 Misfortunes" for our elderly beneficiaries at the Day Center. After all, there are important aspects of life that we rarely understand so deeply.
The game "33 Misfortunes" focuses on key points: it helps assess the degree of danger, provides instructions on how to act when a threat arises, and develops situation assessment skills.
