The Taste of Kindness
Volunteers prepare jams and fruit pastilles for Ba and Di as part of Good Jam Day - with love and care
Our kitchen is filled with the aroma of summer, ripe fruits, and genuine kindness. Volunteers gathered together to begin preparing delicious jams and fruit pastilles as part of the annual Good Jam Day. This is not just a culinary event - it is a day when every fruit, every jar, is filled with the warmth of human hearts.
The entire team joined this good cause: some brought apples, grapes, and cherries, others carefully washed and cut the fruits, while others stood by the stove, transforming everything into fragrant jam and delicate pastilles. Laughter, friendly conversations, and the clinking of dishes fill the kitchen - the work is done with inspiration and love.
These sweet gifts are prepared by the volunteers for our Ba and Di, to give them a piece of care and gratitude. For many elderly people, such a jar of homemade jam is not only the taste of childhood but also a warm sign: that they are remembered, valued, and wished well.
Each jar is a small miracle created with great love. Together, we create goodness - fruit by fruit, jar by jar, smile by smile. And the most valuable part of this initiative is not only the fragrant jam, but the spirit of unity, care, and humanity that unites us all.
Good Jam Day is about sincerity, togetherness, and the sweet taste of kindness, leaving a warm aftertaste in the heart.
