The Work Continues

Frequent power outages haven’t stopped us—our team keeps moving forward!

The hardships of war are no obstacle for our volunteers. As always, we continue to host workshops, organize Shabbat gatherings, and visit those in need.

As part of the Food Security project, we held an engaging cupcake-making masterclass. Over the course of several hours, participants baked delicious cupcakes using simple ingredients—fueled by the warmth of each other's company. The event was filled with friendly conversations, laughter, and, of course, the sweet aroma of freshly baked treats!

Another creative masterclass took place under blackout conditions, where participants made natural cosmetics. The lack of electricity didn’t stop them! Our volunteers proved that they can share their skills and energy no matter the circumstances.

This week, in collaboration with World Jewish Relief, our volunteers also visited people in need at home. These visits provided essential aid, but even more importantly, they brought much-needed warmth and connection. Despite the darkness that fell over Odesa, each home welcomed our volunteers with open arms, creating a space for heartfelt conversations and companionship.

The week ended beautifully with a modular Shabbat, organized together with Christians for Israel. Even amid heavy rocket attacks, power outages, water shortages, and halted public transportation, we gathered to offer each other support, warmth, and hope. This evening was a powerful reminder of the importance of unity and resilience.

A heartfelt thank you to our partners for their support, involvement, and belief in our mission. Together, we can overcome even the most challenging times!
