To be ECO, community!

Tu BіShvat is the Jewish New Year of Trees, which marks the awakening of nature

Tu ВіShvat is not just a holiday, but a reminder of the human connection with nature, of responsibility to it, and of the power of rebirth. That is why, as part of the all-Ukrainian environmental campaign To be ECO, volunteers together with the participants of the day center, with the support of the WJR Foundation, organized a special event dedicated to the traditions of this day.

Together, we planted microgreens, peas and lettuce seeds that will soon sprout and bring health benefits. We also planted flowers together - asters and marigolds that will decorate our space with bright colors.

A special part of the event was the work on a unique pot created on a 3D printer. We did not just print a container for plants, but made it with a drip irrigation system that will allow you to take care of the plant with minimal effort. We planted a delicate violet in this innovative pot, which will become a symbol of care and rebirth.

Tu BіShvat is the Jewish New Year of Trees, which marks the awakening of nature. The Talmud says that people are like trees: even in the darkest of times, they find the strength to overcome difficulties and be reborn.

This day was not only an opportunity for us to green the space but also a reminder that together we can change the world for the better. We thank everyone who participated and look forward to seeing the first sprouts!
