Travel to the United Kingdom

Volunteers, as part of the "Art Travelers Club" project, took Hesed's clients to the magical country of the monarchy

This trip was filled with the atmosphere of ancient castles, exquisite culture, and fascinating stories that came to life right before our eyes.

The most famous English songs were performed, adding a special charm to the evening, and familiar melodies transported the participants to the world of British musical tradition. Participants read Shakespeare's sonnets, immersing themselves in the world of immortal poetry that has been inspiring for hundreds of years.

But what is a trip without gastronomic discoveries? That evening, everyone had the opportunity to taste traditional English dishes that took us to the heart of the UK.

The highlight of the event was interesting facts about the United Kingdom. Participants learned about the world's largest library, the mysterious poison garden, pirates and kings, Oxford University, and Big Ben. Particular attention was paid to the history of Jews in England, as well as a fascinating maysa about a young man whose execution was never carried out because of a noose that was broken three times! These were moments of surprise, delight, and even greater love for the world of history and culture.

For more than 40 travelers, this trip was a real discovery, full of warmth, inspiration, and unforgettable emotions. Thank you all for your support, creativity, and open hearts! Let's travel together to new discoveries, interesting stories, and vivid impressions!
