Unconventional Approach to Creativity
Volunteers visited the Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Department with the "Birthday Day" project.
As part of the "Birthday Day" project, volunteers from the Sumy center visited the Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Department. The main goal of the visit was to uplift the spirits of the young residents and evoke positive emotions. To achieve this, volunteers conducted a wonderful workshop where the children could fully demonstrate their creative abilities.
The children eagerly immersed themselves in a world of fantasy and creativity. Armed with scissors and colored paper, they created unique crafts: a flower with seven petals that grants wishes, a yellow chick, clouds, and beautiful flowers. The imagination of these young creators knew no bounds, and the cheerful smiles on the children's faces were the best reward for the volunteers! Many of these children undergo treatment for months, and the workshop provided a breath of fresh air amidst their medical procedures.
Mothers of the children were not left out either. They were offered to create drawings using ordinary coffee, which caused quite a surprise. However, the results turned out to be simply wonderful, bright, and incredibly aromatic! The aroma of coffee filled the air and attracted passers-by, who were amazed to discover that coffee could be used to create real masterpieces!
Our volunteers made every effort to create a joyful creative atmosphere and bring more joy into the lives of both mothers and children going through a challenging period. We believe that positive emotions are as essential for quick recovery as traditional medicine! Such events help children maintain a positive attitude and feel supported and cared for.
We thank our volunteers for their creative approach in organizing the workshop! We are confident that next time, children can expect an equally captivating journey into the world of creativity and positive emotions! Our team wishes our young friends a speedy recovery!
We urge everyone who cares about the problems and concerns of others to join the volunteer movement. Together, we have the power to make our society kinder and improve the lives of those in need!
