“Volunteens” — when young people create miracles
As part of the "Volunteens" project, an incredibly heartwarming event took place, once again proving that true kindness knows no age
Our young volunteers, together with their mentors, visited the summer beneficiaries to bring them not just freshly baked challahs for Shabbat, but a piece of care, sincerity, and heartfelt warmth.

The challahs — freshly baked, fragrant, and made with love by the teenagers — became more than just a treat; they were a symbol of intergenerational unity. Along with them, our Volunteens brought genuine smiles, attention, kind words, and open hearts.

During the visits, we lit the Shabbat candles together, spoke about the importance of good deeds, and exchanged stories and wishes for a peaceful, bright Shabbat. These moments were authentic — deep, meaningful, and filled with mutual respect and warmth.

For our beneficiaries, such meetings are more than just a visit. They are a reminder that they are remembered, that young people honor their history, preserve traditions, and strive to be present. And for the teenagers themselves, these encounters are lessons in empathy, compassion, and real-life experience.

We are sincerely proud of our participants in the "Volunteens" project — they do more than help. They create positive change. Today, they are already a strong foundation for our tomorrow.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this Shabbat of kindness!
