Volunteer Campaign "Yeladim - Territory of Children's Dreams"
From May 30 to June 7, 21 centers of the Volunteer Community network held the "Yeladim - Territory of Children's Dreams" campaign
Childhood should not have to wait for better times, because it exists here and now. With this thought in mind, volunteers, communities, and partners united around the "Yeladim - Territory of Children's Dreams" campaign to give children something that many of them lack today - joy, carefree moments, a sense of safety, and faith in kindness.
Throughout the campaign, volunteers from 21 volunteer centers in 17 cities across Ukraine created a true territory of dreams for children. These included creative workshops, festive programs, sports activities, games, quests, entertainment, friendly gatherings, and countless sincere smiles. Each event became a small story about how the attention and care of adults can make a child's day truly special.
Behind these stories stand 159 volunteers who shared their time, energy, and warmth. Together, they held 42 events, which totaled 78 hours. These were 78 hours of laughter, excitement, creativity, and happy children's eyes. Hours during which children could simply be children.
Forty-one partners joined the campaign, helping to bring the boldest ideas to life and make the celebrations even brighter. Thanks to these joint efforts, 930 children were reached, including 183 participants of the AJTJunior program, for whom these gatherings became a source of positive emotions, new experiences, and a feeling that the community is a place of care and support, a place of joy and warmth.
"Yeladim - Territory of Children's Dreams" became not only a celebration for children and not only a volunteer contribution - it is also about the responsibility of communities for the next generation. It is about the desire to support children today so that tomorrow they can grow up to be confident, kind, and caring people. It is an investment in the future that is measured not by numbers, but by smiles, trust, and happy memories.
Every child's dream that came true during the campaign became another proof that the strength of a community is born where people care for one another. And as long as there are people willing to give their time, attention, and love, the territory of children's dreams will continue to grow.
