Volunteers from the Kryvyi Rih Volunteer Community, alongside members of the "Junior" club, children aged 7 to 12, delved into one of the most critical topics of our time – volunteering. Together, they explored what volunteering is and why it holds such importance.

During this engaging event, the volunteers from the center shared their experiences and stories of baking challah for those in need, visiting the elderly and giving them the most precious gift of all – time and attention. They also emphasized the importance of doing good deeds and the profound sense of happiness that comes from helping others.

In the practical part of the session, felt coasters for cups were crafted together with the children. Once they completed this small project, these coasters were presented to the elderly. This gesture is more than just a gift; it symbolizes attention and care for the elderly members of the community, showing them how important and valuable they are to all of us.

This session highlighted that volunteering is not merely assistance; it is genuine magic capable of making our world kinder, warmer, and more friendly. Volunteers and children demonstrated that every helping hand has the power to change the world, making it better and more compassionate.
