Warm deeds that change the world

Good deeds don’t require loud words — just an open heart, and our volunteers once again proved this through their actions

Good deeds are the wings that keep our world aloft. With this approach, volunteers from the "Wings of Kindness Center" create a space of light, support, and humanity around them every day.

In the care space, volunteer artisans gently and attentively repaired clothing — professionally, with love, and attention to every detail. Thanks to their skilled hands, items were given a second chance, and their owners received warmth and confidence.

Volunteers with “golden hands” provided not only comfort but also beauty: giving haircuts to beneficiaries, creating neat and cared-for appearances that brought joy, ease, and confidence. They also repaired electrical appliances, restoring comfort to the daily lives of those who needed it most.

Meanwhile, in another room, its own kind of magic unfolded — creative workshops. Participants eagerly learned to work with dry plaster, creating pieces that impressed with their sincerity and heartfelt character. The atmosphere was full of inspiration, support, and new discoveries.

And, of course, on the eve of Shabbat, the day wouldn’t be complete without a special warmth — the aroma of freshly baked challah. Within the Food Security project, volunteers kneaded, braided, and baked with open hearts and prayers. These challahs are more than bread — they represent care, unity, and generosity.

A particularly touching moment was when the still-warm, soft challah was handed from hand to hand to participants of the Special Youth of Ukraine Foundation project. This moment became a symbol of community, respect, and heartfelt warmth.

We sincerely thank all the volunteers of the Wings of Kindness Center — you create a world where life feels brighter and more meaningful.
