Warm meals
Starting from March, volunteers of "Lutsk Volunteer Community" have been cooking 10 to 30 meals daily to share with others.
They mostly focus on providing meals to those who are running away from war and for those who have found themselves in a difficult situation at this point in life.
Five days of week, our volunteers are trying to provide of others and fill their primary needs of food. First several months this project was realized in a small project with only one weathered stove in a small kitchen. However, with support of our friends from JDC, JUSI foundation and financial assistance from World Jewish Relief we have acquired more equipment to cook even more meals and brighten up the days of more and more people.
New big stove, kitchen hood, oven, and other equipment is now in active use. In addition, all provided equipment was set up by our handy volunteers, who seem to know how to do everything!
Daily, our volunteers are cooking warm meals for others with love and care to help people survive through another hard day and ease their sorrows. Now they are able to do it even more quickly and qualitatively. Step by step, bit by bit we are heading to a greater good!
