Warm meals made with love

Food is not just about filling the stomach; it’s also about care and the comforting feeling that you are not alone - and this is exactly what the Food Security project is all about

The volunteers of the Lviv Volunteer Center, within the Food Security project, prepare delicious and nutritious hot meals each week for the beneficiaries of VEBF "Hesed-Arie". This is not merely a culinary effort but a heartfelt expression of care and support for those who need attention the most.

Each menu includes a first course, a side dish, meat, fresh bread or a roll, and a light dessert - all prepared with love to remind our beneficiaries of home comfort, even if loved ones are not nearby.

For elderly recipients, these meals are more than just food. They offer a chance to feel the warmth of the community, knowing they are remembered and cared for. Every meal delivery is accompanied by genuine conversation, smiles, and a few minutes of human attention - sometimes worth even more than the meal itself.

The kitchen atmosphere is always filled with laughter and team spirit. Volunteers help one another, share recipes and ideas, turning the cooking process into a true celebration of kindness.

We sincerely thank everyone who contributes to this good cause. Together, we do more than just feed - we give a sense of dignity, care, and community, which are so essential in these challenging times.
