Warmth, aroma and unity
An atmospheric event that brought together the women of the community around the ancient and meaningful tradition of baking challah
This is a special process that not only fills the air with the incredible aroma of freshly baked bread but also warms the hearts, brings peace, and creates a sense of community.
The Cherkasy Volunteer Community initiated this event, and each participant put a part of their soul into kneading the dough, braiding, and baking. Baking challah is always a bit of a miracle and a surprise, as everyone hopes for the bread to be not only beautiful but also perfectly baked, soft, and delicious.

Some of the baked challahs were given to the community’s beneficiaries so they too could feel the warmth and care of the community. The two largest challahs will adorn the festive table for Shabbat, creating a special atmosphere of spirituality and unity.

Baking together is not just about cooking. It's a time for relaxation, creativity, and soulful conversation. In these moments, we not only prepare food but also recharge, share joy, and support one another.
Thanks to everyone who participated! May our challahs bring light, warmth, and coziness into our homes!
